Samsung Flip Park was a 17-day skateboarding festival by Iris. A celebration of British skate culture, highlighting the capture capabilities and features of the Galaxy Z Flip5.
The brief was to seamlessly integrate multiple Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 phones into the high-energy skateboarding experience, capturing skaters in action as they navigated ramps and performed tricks.
Our challenge was to capture the skateboarders remotely without disrupting their flow, all while highlighting the Galaxy Z Flip5’s innovative features and capabilities to engage a new audience.

We designed, fabricated and installed ceiling mounted custom multi camera rigs and single camera rigs placed around Flip Park to capture skateboarders in action.
Encased in clear acrylic, the rigs were designed to showcase the Galaxy Z Flip5.

The rigs were paired with bespoke software, allowing the Galaxy Z Flip5 cameras to be triggered via the Galaxy Watch, demonstrating ecosystem connectivity. The seamless integration of Samsung’s tablets for social sharing added an additional level of interactivity and connectedness to the festival experience.
The Samsung Flip Park installation surpassed expectations, driving significant buzz, footfall, and engagement. Led by Iris, the festival won multiple awards, including Best Collaboration and Best Integrated Campaign at the Campaign Experience Awards. We’re proud to have contributed to the content and technology integration that helped make the event a success.
