UK wide phone launch, supported with socially targeted video content.
Briefed to devise and execute an online and experiential marketing strategy to launch the remastered Nokia 8110, we had to cut through to a young audience already saturated by the latest smartphone technology.
We identified two trends in current youth culture relevant to Nokia the 8110: an appetite for simpler tech, and the 90’s revival aesthetic.
We designed and built a tourable set to pay homage to Nokia’s 90’s heritage and style, while celebrating the phones simpler tech, it’s iconic banana association and everyone’s favourite game, Snake.

In a compact set build we included a 3D GIF booth, a socially powered 90’s vending machine, a snake game area and a POS.
Touring – London, Bristol, Manchester and Liverpool, each event was kick started with a street art guerrilla marketing activity and a geo targeted teaser Instagram campaign.
